I haven’t been posting much because, unfortunately, I am absolutely miserable this week. It has been at least 90 degrees every day this week until today…when the thermometer hit 101.

As a result, there isn’t much schooling going on.

Just like there isn’t much cleaning, crafts, writing, or any unnecessary movement of any kind going on.

Today though, on our way home from a cleaning I said to Emily. “I’d like to have a discussion with you on WHAT you would like to learn in homeschool this year. You don’t have to answer me right away, but I would like for you think of what you are interested in, and what you would like to know more of.”

I threw out some ideas – learning how to read better, or master writing in cursive, or about state/U.S./world history, how money works, or the history of Legos.

Take a guess at what she picked?!

So off I go to research the history of Legos…
